Santa Cruz is doing a bike demo day at Palmer Park tomorrow, May 15th from from 9:00 until 3:00. Hopefully the trails won’t be too muddy. They’ll be set up somewhere near Maizeland and Paseo. I’d guess in the parking lots near the playground or baseball diamonds.
Demo days are a great way to do more test riding on a bike than you can typically do when riding a bike from a shop. Some shops do have rental bikes so you can do more testing but it’s not free like at a demo day.
Colorado Cyclist isn’t sure which bikes Santa Cruz is bringing but hopefully they’ll have bikes like the Blur XC Carbon and the Tallboy Carbon. Typically you need to have a credit card and/or photo ID to demo a bike. I’d also recommend taking your own pedals so you can ride with your shoes if you use clipless pedals.
